As if packing stuff was tedious enough, so was the trip towards Grandma's home. There was heavy traffic on the way there, as many are visiting their relatives durng the Christmas season, as what my family are doing now. It's been 3 months since I last visited there, and I was curious about anything that changed there. I heard there were going to renovate the outdoor swmming pool, which my sister was so excited about. She's a good swimmer, the opposite of me.
Yeah, I get to meet my cousins and relatives who were there, but most of them were pre-pubescent kids, none of them in my age group (young adults; 18 to 35 years old). So, I've decided to socialize with the grown ups around the dining table.
It looks like the news was true. They're renovating the swimming pool, as well as the pool restroom. The tiles sport a checkered look (alternate dark and light blue) rather than the original bland sky blue tiling. It's not filled with water yet, but once it is, my younger cousins can't wait to get in. I'm not that enthusiastic, though, due to the aforementioned "difference" between me and my sister. Other than that, there's still the refurnished sala set with the wide seater near the wide, barred windows.
Most of the rooms along the long hallway, which once belongs to Mom and her siblings, are currently being occupied (though not permanently) by us, the offsprings. These branch from the main hallway, leading to the main altar. Putting these sections to use would save the trouble of turning them into bodega (store rooms).
I find an empty room, which used to be Granpa's, then set up my laptop, plug in the charger, put in the diskette, and I'm all set. I could exchange it for my CD Drive so I could play my anime collection, but I've decided that activity some other time.
Well, since I'm starting to write some, I better end this entry now.
