Today, I will do something special. Deciding to repay my parents, I've gone shopping for gifts. Of course, it's the usual stuff like shirts, handkerchiefs and such simple stuff. I'm not aiming for anything extravagant, because it's merely a simple gesture.
Actually, the only reason I'm going along with my parents today is to fix something about her cellphone, which has wireless capabilities. The nice thing about it is being able to send remote e-mail, which is, sending electronic mail without a need for a wired modem. She plans to seek help of an expert help, since I already tried tinkering with my limited knowledge (I am the tech whiz in the family.), but still fail. We had to travel all the way to the top floor just to seek help.
It was actually quite an intensive work getting things back to working order. A lot of adjustment had to be made in order to make the device send and receive email, not only web pages (the device really is that impressive).
While we were waiting for the tech guy to make due with the settings, I was busy wandering along the electronics section doing some window-shopping for PDA Add-ons. Along the way, I spotted a few shops that have what I am looking for on the side, a 3D Graphics Designer. One I have in mind is Maya, which is an excellent software according to reviews. With that in mind, I managed to pick up the latest version 6. Unfortunately, since I am new to Graphics Design, I picked up a How-To book for this, and I only got one for the earlier version 5. Oh well, at least to my knowledge, some of the features in version 5 are still available(even if few) in the later version.
Now that we're done with the device maintenance (and some purchase along the way), it all ended with a treat for ice cream for the family.
That is all.
