Good News: Yes, I've finally done it! After almost 7 days of toiling over my PS2, my FFX journey has come to an end. Clearly this showed both my enthusiasm and ingenuity in finishing the game. It confirmed my suspicions that the game will end on a sad note, seeing all the hints in the game pointing out to the true existence of Sin, the Fayth, and of the main hero (which by default, is named Tidus).
Bad News: The sequel, however, put a damp into my hopes that the continuation would be heartwarming, awe-inspiring, well done, and in tune with the theme of its prequel. It was made, in my opinion, as an attempt to not disappoint those game playing people who thought that the story was not enough, and that the hero still lives, despite the fact the he announced his retirement in the living world of Spira. (read: dead)
Good News: I have acquired an inspiration for another story. This one, however, will be like all my non-fiction stories (those at FictionPress.com) in that all will end sadly.
Bad News: Minutes after I've successfully finished FFX, my inspiration suddenly walked out on me. Though I have the plot, characters, and theme all laid out, my hands suddenly stopped writing the story. Why now? Now I have to try and find that muse again, and ask her again about the story, if it should ever continue.
