Battle of the Bands: Sounding Off

So one day, out of the blue, my younger sister invited me to watch the Soundskool 2006, sponsored by Nescafe. I was reluctant to go, since it was a Sunday, technically, and I still have some homework, but after some efficient coaxing on her part, I had to go. Oh well, at least I already finished some of the diffuicult parts, and will probably come back to the rest of the questions.

I won't go much into the details, partly because the reverberating sounds of the loud bass coming off from the speakers is jumbling my thought process while I was there to observe, and partly because I have a minimal interest in music.

Oh, and I have to mention the structure of most of the entries' lyrics and/or music.
  • prelude
  • part1
  • bridge
  • chorus
  • part2
  • bridge
  • chorus
  • instrumental (this was, for me, the most awesome part; because the guitarists get to strut their stuff. I have yet to see a very fast strumming)
  • bridge
  • chorus
  • fin
The winner, unexpectedly by the crowd, was a band known by a weird cryptic name. Effinbouche. Sounds German to me.
