Yes, it's that day of the year again. Visits to the faitfully departed, blessing their souls and all that.

What's more the point of this entry is the fact that this year, visitation of bereaved families to cemeteries will be limited to a one-day holiday. I think this is mainly a business-oriented, since firms in the economy stand to lose profit they were supposed to earn had it not been for religious holidays in the way of their pursuit. But religionwise, it puts the religious devotees at an unfair disadvantage, since majority of the Filipino are of the Roman Catholic faith denomination.

Alas, I still have to visit the graves of my deceased relatives even for one day, at the risk that I might miss my morning classes the following day. Oh well.
