So today I decided to take a night out from studies, since with all the heavy load of assignments Uni has dumped on me, I guess I would find it somewhat practical to take a day off and "unwind", so to speak.
Today we went out with a fwe of my relatives to see a movie, and according to my textmate and curent fanfiction collaborate, it's a touching piece. World Trade Center, by Oliver Stone tells the story of two individuals, cops from New York, who have been trapped and were lucky enough to survive. Had it not been for the succesful effort of one Staff Sergeant Marine, they would have ben death from dehydration and starvation. It's somewhat a curio for me how they managed to conserve all that energy to survive, enough time for a Marine to locate where they are, and finally pull the two "survivors" out of their predicament. It just shows the infallable human spirit in the face of a global crisis on a local scale. In this case, the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York.
That was it. Until then.
